Question:  What does the wonderful & worthy candle smell like? 

Answer:  It's a beautiful soft lilac floral with elderberry and champagne notes.

Question: What does the Always Welcome candle smell like? 

Answer: It has a hint of cardamom and spice blended with the warmth of cedar.  

Question: Why is my candle releasing soot?

Answer: This is natural in any candle. The best way to control this release is by trimming your wick. You can also make sure that your candle isn't near a draft or vent. Always extinguish your candle if it has been burning for over 4 hours. We recommend using a candle snuffer to control the soot release.  

Question: Why does my candle have wax build up on the edges of the jar?

Answer: This is called tunneling. When a candle tunnels, it is likely that the candle has not been burning long enough for the wax to pool from edge to edge. Burn your candle for 3-4 hours to allow for this to correct itself.

Question: What type of wax do you use in your candles?

Answer: Sustainable, high-quality natural soy wax! Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates and lead-free! We use high-quality ingredients. 

Our candles are clean-burning, true-to-scent, and long-lasting. We keep our candles as clean and natural as possible and use only pure premium fragrance oils.

Question: Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?

Answer: Yes, our candles do not contain any animal products, and no animals were tested or used for candle production. We keep our candles as clean and natural as possible and use only pure premium fragrance oils.

Question: Do your wicks contain lead?

Answer: No. We used cotton wicks to ensure that there was no lead in our products.

Question:  Why do the lilac jars vary in color?

Answer:  You may see a variance in the shade of lilac from time to time. We love the unique nature of hand-painted products, and all of our jars are painted by hand.

Question:  Can I return a candle that I burned?

Answer:  We only allow returns of unburned candles within 30 days of purchase.

Question:  Do you offer returns?

Answer: We do allow returns within 30 days of purchase as long as your item has not been used or damaged.  We will apply store credit to your account minus any shipping expenses incurred by Life in Lilac.

Question:  Do you ship to Canada?

Answer: Unfortunately we are not set up to ship to Canada yet.  Please check back soon.  

Question:  Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Answer:  We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii at this time.  

Question:  Can I return just one of the items that I bought as a set?

 Answer:  We sell items as "sets" and give them 1 SKU number.  This means that the set is not able to be separated upon returning.  We are not able to accept returns of part of a set and must receive all items in the set to accept your return.
